Concepts like numeration, place value, and computation are explored through seeing, hearing, touching, and doing, ensuring students develop a strong and intuitive understanding. Our curriculum is supplemented with resources like Math-U-See, which emphasizes a mastery-based approach, focusing on one concept at a time until it's fully understood before moving on. This prevents learning gaps and builds a solid foundation.

Tools for Independent Problem-Solving

Students create a personalized math resource binder filled with templates, graphs, multiplication charts, and flow charts to aid in problem-solving. This innovative tool supports students as they learn and gain confidence. As they become more proficient, these resources are gradually transitioned out, fostering independence. Our ultimate goal is to seamlessly transition each student into a more traditional style of instruction with textbooks, ensuring they are well-prepared for the mathematical demands of high school and beyond.
