Erin Rothwell

Erin Rothwell serves as the Co-Director of Learning Support at Maryvale Preparatory School where she oversees academic support for students in grades 6 through 12. She specializes in executive function, ADHD, dyslexia, and anxiety-related learning challenges and works closely with students, families, and faculty to implement individualized strategies that foster academic growth as well as personal confidence. Erin also leads professional development for faculty and co-designs programming that blends creativity, mindset work, and skill-building.


Over the course of her career, Erin has taught at Notre Dame Preparatory School, Calvert School, Overlea High School, and Maryvale. She also spent time working in admissions at Roland Park Country School, further deepening her understanding of the independent school landscape.


A native of Chestertown, Maryland and a graduate of Washington College, Erin interned at Radcliffe Creek School during her senior year, an experience that confirmed her passion for working with neurodiverse learners. Coming from a family of educators, Erin brings both personal and professional commitment to creating inclusive, student-centered learning environments.


The Board of Trustees welcomes Erin as a trustee who brings strong experiences as an educator providing academic support to students.
