About the event

Join us at 5:00pm for refreshments and conversation. The presentation with Dr. Palmiter will begin at 5:30pm.


Dr. Palmiter is a board-certified clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience in evaluating, treating, and advocating for people diagnosed with ADHD across the lifespan. He serves as the clinical director of The Chesapeake Center in Bethesda, which offers neuropsychological assessments and ADHD counseling and resources to families. An experienced public speaker, Dr. Palmiter has provided numerous lectures on ADHD for audiences around the world, often incorporating humor, storytelling and magic in his lectures. He has led continuing education workshops on ADHD and related topics for licensed mental health professionals across the country, and he has authored over three dozen publications, including two books on promoting resilience in youth.
