1) What led you to Radcliffe?

I had a receptive language impairment and went to Radcliffe to overcome it and essentially learn how to learn.

2) Who was your favorite teacher at Radcliffe and why?

That’s such a tough question because all of the teachers while I was there were all amazing! I really enjoyed Mrs. Holmes. She taught me cursive by spraying shaving cream on the table, which was so fun. Learning cursive in that way taught me how to write and spell my name correctly. I also really liked Mrs. Coppage! We did many fun things in her class. One that comes to mind is learning how to propagate plants using water bottles. I loved Mr. Reynolds art class too! I was so fascinated by how easy it was to paint or draw a flying bird in the sky and it look relatively realistic.

3) What was your favorite RCS memory?

Swinging on the giant swing in the gym, the buffalo bucks store, and playing a role in the Polar express play.

4) How did Radcliffe prepare you for the future?

I believe that Radcliffe gave me the foundations of learning. I excelled so much there that I developed this can-do attitude that has served me very well throughout my academic life and into the professional work world.

5) What advice do you have for a family who is considering RCS for their child?

My advice is to enroll their child, especially if they have a learning difference. The educators there are so hands on and ensure that every child understands the material they are learning before moving on to new topics. Not only do they provide a supportive and personalized learning experience, I appreciate that they value grasping concepts and materials as opposed to passing tests just to pass tests. Radcliffe changed my life.

6) What High School did you attend and graduate from?

Kent County High School, Class of 2018

7) Did you attend College or Post-Secondary Training?

St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Class of 2022

8) What are you currently doing or involved in?

Marketing Analyst at AARP

9) Do you have any hobbies, hidden talents or other fun things to share?

I love to scuba dive and snowboard seasonally, I enjoy active activities and exercise on a regular and when I find the time, I enjoy reading, drawing, dancing, singing.
