Ben Joiner P '27 & '29

Ben Joiner is a dedicated and experienced educator who currently serves as Radcliffe Creek School's Director of Strategy and Outreach. His career in education began in Caroline County as a fourth-grade teacher before he joined the Radcliffe Creek team in 2001, where he has been a consistent and encouraging force for over two decades. Known for his embodiment of the school’s ethos, Ben has consistently challenged and uplifted staff, parents, and students alike, always holding them to high standards.


In his extensive tenure at Radcliffe, Ben has worn many hats, teaching a wide range of subjects including Discovery, Literature, Math, Physical Education, and Art. His commitment to student success is rooted in his passion for watching children achieve their goals. This dedication propelled him into leadership positions, including serving as the Discovery Department Head before being promoted to Assistant Head of School in 2016. A lifelong learner, Ben holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Salisbury University and a Master of Science in Education and School Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. A native of Kent County, his strong community ties and comprehensive experience make him a vital part of Radcliffe Creek's past, present, and future.
