Tim Loeffler

Tim Loeffler, the newest addition to our dynamic teaching team, brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, and a unique perspective to our K-8 school community. A proud graduate of Washington College, Mr. Loeffler holds a degree in counseling with a minor in secondary education.

Mr. Loeffler's passion for education and fostering holistic development led him to pursue a career in teaching, specializing in physical education. His commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle is evident in his engaging and interactive approach to teaching PE. Mr. Loeffler's students not only develop physical skills but also gain a deeper understanding of the importance of well-being.

In addition to his role leading the Physical Education department, Mr. Loeffler is an integral part of our Discovery program, where he contributes to an immersive and innovative approach to teaching science and social studies. His dedication to creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment aligns perfectly with our school's commitment to providing a well-rounded education.

Before joining our staff as a full-time instructor, Mr. Loeffler served as an intern at our school during the 2022-2023 academic year. This experience allowed him to become familiar with our school's values, ethos, and unique learning culture. Mr. Loeffler's seamless transition from intern to a full-time educator reflects his dedication to our school community, the students who we serve, and his aspiration to “help people reach their fullest potential.”

Outside of the classroom, Mr. Loeffler has an exciting personal history. One of the standout fun facts about him is that he stood on top of the Great Wall of China when he was just 8 years old. This early adventure sparked his curiosity and love for exploring different cultures and places. Mr. Loeffler also has an impressive athletic background, having played soccer at Washington College. Notably, he was part of the team that secured the centennial conference victory for the first time in the college's history—a remarkable achievement that speaks to Mr. Loeffler's determination and teamwork skills.

His diverse experiences, positive energy, and commitment to student success make him a valuable asset to our school community.
